How to Invest

As a boutique fund manager, we cater exclusively to wholesale investors, offering access to premium fixed-income opportunities. Follow the process below to begin your investment journey with Manning Asset Management.

Confirm eligibility

To invest, you must qualify as a wholesale client under Chapter 7 of the Corporations Act 2001. You are eligible if:

• You invest at least $500,000

• A Qualified Accountant certifies that you have net assets of $2.5 million

• A Qualified Accountant certifies that you have earned at least $250,000 annually for the last two years

• You are a professional investor, such as an AFS Licensee or an entity controlling assets of $10 million or more.

Submit your application

You can apply online through the Boardroom Online Application portal:

New Investors: Complete the online application with required documentation. You will need to provide certified documentation and proof of your wholesale status, and complete the application before the cut-off date.
Existing Investors: Apply for additional units by completing the one-page form by selecting “Apply as an Existing Investor”. You will need your unitholder number (starting with a U), which can be found on your contract notes or monthly distribution statement. You will need to provide certified documentation and proof of your wholesale status, and complete the application before the cut-off date.

Boardroom, our Fund Administrator, will contact you if they need additional documents to finalise your application.

Fund your investment

You can fund your investment via:

Direct Debit: Ensure sufficient funds in your account.
BPAY or EFT: Manual payment options are also available.

Direct Debits are processed four (4) Sydney business days prior to the last Sydney business day of the month. Please ensure your nominated account is sufficiently funded to avoid any delays. If your application is made within the last four (4) Sydney business days of the month, please use EFT or BPAY as your method of funding. After all documents have been provided and funds received, you will receive an automated email from Boardroom notifying you that your application has been completed.

Receive confirmation

You will receive a contract note, generally around the 10th Sydney business day of the month. Distribution Statements will be issued monthly after your first month of investment, keeping you informed about your income.

Ongoing management and reporting

Boardroom, our Fund Administrator, will send an annual tax statement with a breakdown of your distributions for the financial year. Tax statements are usually sent in mid to late August. If you are subscribed to our Monthly Performance Update, you will also receive a monthly fact sheet and performance commentary. At any time, you can access all your statements, holdings balance, past payments, and transactions online via the InvestorServe portal.
